CPAP Savers supplies equipment that may be classified as medical devices within the United Kingdom. We operate in accordance with UK medical device regulations and ensure all products are sourced through lawful and reputable channels. Our role is to provide access to respiratory therapy equipment — we do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatment plans.

Products That May Require a Prescription

Some respiratory support devices fall into a category where clinical authorisation may be required before they can be supplied. If this applies, we may request confirmation from:

  • A doctor or prescribing clinician, or

  • Documentation showing you are already using CPAP or related therapy

This generally applies to equipment such as:

About Masks, Tubing, Filters & Other Components

We supply mask parts and accessories as separate components, not as a pre-assembled therapeutic setup.
Examples include:

  • Headgear straps

  • Frames and cushions

  • Humidifier chambers

  • Tubing and filters

These items are intended to replace worn parts for people who are already using prescribed CPAP/BiLevel therapy.

If you assemble these components into a complete mask system, you are doing so at your own discretion and under your existing therapy direction.

Your Responsibility as the Buyer

By purchasing from CPAP Savers, you confirm that you:

  1. Understand the intended purpose and correct use of the equipment you are purchasing

  2. Are responsible for ensuring the equipment is suitable for your medical needs

  3. Will follow appropriate cleaning, maintenance, and operating instructions

  4. Will seek advice from a healthcare professional if unsure about usage

What We Cannot Provide

  • Medical diagnosis

  • Therapy setup or adjustment advice

  • Instruction on how or when to use respiratory devices

If you require clinical support, please consult:

  • Your GP

  • A sleep specialist

  • A respiratory physiologist

  • A qualified medical professional

Limitation of Liability

CPAP Savers is not responsible for:

  • Improper assembly of equipment

  • Incorrect or unsafe operation of devices

  • Any outcome resulting from use without clinical guidance

  • Damage caused by unauthorised modifications or repairs

All equipment should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and any medical guidance previously provided to you by your GP.
